Just a quick question about the fisher gold bug 2. What is its ability to grab small gold? I have a gold bug se version 3, and love it. Im still a newbe to detecting, and what to get a new detector if all gose well. Well tku any info would be greatfull..
 
goldbugs are not know for detecting very deep at all. However they can detect gold under 1 grain in size. but so can my Minelab x-terra 705 and do it deeper.
 
Steve in idaho, Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you on this. I was using the 5x10 DD HF and the 6" DD HF . They both will pick up that tiny tiny pieces. The smallest one in pick was 3 inches down.
