Hey ED,Hey ED.Can you give me a ranking on the Surf PI Pro M/D ?? Good are bad,I'm a big boy:devil:

... if you have the energy to dig all the signals it will give you.

As a PI (pulse induction) versus a VLF (very low frequency) discriminating machine, you will not hear much, if any, difference at all between a nail and a gold ring. To me the Surf PI makes all targets sound the same with the exception of faint versus loud targets which seems to be caused by target depth versus metallic content.

The Surf PI will reach out and find targets missed by many other PI and VLF machines. When water hunting, the weighted divers coil keeps the coil on the bottom so you don't have to fight any float resistance like you have with the current production run of the Beach Hunter ID.

When I don't have the time to adequately cover an area going back again and again, time after time, I prefer the BHID. The BHID will tell you about and let you reject small and large iron / steel targets saving you time and energy by recovering only jewelry and coin range targets.

If I were to constantly hunt the same area and eventually remove all the old and new junk iron / steel targets, then the Surf PI would be my machine of choice. It will punch a signal deeper than the BHID.

Hope my humble opinion helps you Elson.
