Hey Digger/ are you

back to near normal after the ice storm ?

Temps have been above freezing the past couple afternoons. So much of the ice has melted from the trees. Most of the folks around here have their power back and roads aren't too bad. Still have several inches of snow on the ground and suppose to get more tomorrow night. All in all, we're OK. Those two big trees have to be taken down. And the tree service guys can't get into the yard until the ground freezes more. So, until then, I'll keep picking up the little branches and hoping another big one don't hit the house again. Thanks for asking. HH Randy

Yup Digger, I see the National Weather Service has already issued a winter storm watch for Iowa Saturday afternoon and evening. Hopefully it will be all snow instead of ice! Thanks for all your help this last year! Take care and have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Thanks Ron. Merry Christmas to you and yours as well. HH Randy

I hate winter. Weather guesser are now calling for another round of freezing rain after midnight, changing to snow by morning. Temps drop and winds switch to the north at 25 mph with 35 mph gusts. Did I mention I hate winter? HH Randy

Track the storms progress on the forums.

Colorado on Friday, Iowa Sat and Michigan Sunday  Gee I wonder when it will hit New Hampshire? ;)

I hate winter too Randy.

Tom

Isn't ironic how the storm patterns are like our politicians on the campaign trail? They float from Iowa to New Hampshire, they are full of wind and everyone is glad when they're gone! HH Randy
