Hey did any of you ever ride one of these!

Not since I was a kid growing up in Texas!!

It ranks right up there with the Jack-a-lope as the number one tourist attraction!!

I've got a photo of my wife, taken about 1947 or '48, mounted on one of those giant jackrabbits. There's a photo of me when I was about 2, mounted on a stuffed buffalo. Those things used to be very common at carnivals. It cost anywhere from a quarter to a half dollar to get your picture taken on the thing. There's a rancher who hits county fairs around here. He's got a huge but very tame longhorn steer. He charges $5--it's gone up these days--to get a pricture of your kid sitting in the saddle on the steer.
