I was just looking at my "wall of fame" which is what I call the wall where all my detectors are hung and stored. Although I own most all the brands, I was just wondering if I could possibly be eligible for an official "Junior Poster Boy" status since I have a C$, CZ-70, CZ-3D, Excel, and 1270. Perhaps BFL should really stand for (B)ig (F)isher (L)over? ;)

Yea, I think you have me beat now! Unless my antique Fisher's count like the "tresure Scout" below? Naa...I guess they gutta WORK right? I'm still kicking myself for sellin' off all my x-series units :rage: I could really use a 1270 for certain applications....I think a 1270 would kick butt in England. Speaking of that...anyone ever try taking a 1270 off the rod?? Or maybe the trigger prevents it from being a hipmount?
Anyhow, I currently have: C$, Excel, CZ-7apro, CZ-6a, Gemini-3 (does that one count?). I do have a dealer holding a used 1236x for me that was a trade in (but I'm too broke to get it right now) :sadwalk: I just need a X-series unit to make use of the rare 3" & eliptical coils...
But wait a second. Don't you have a buncha Toysoro's & stuff too? :nono: How many dang detectors do you need?

I plum forgot about my Gemini 3. :D I have gotta get off my butt and get that puppy out and learn to use it. :( The 1270 is one of my favorite all around detectors. I can't imagine you being without one. I had a couple 1236's for about a year and I like them much better than the '35 I had previously, but for me, (please don't throw stones here) the 1270 renders the '36 back to the second string so I sold them. Of course addmittedly, if one needs a frequency shift, it's the Fisher to own, but I already have others with frequency shifts. How many detectors does one need? As many as you can get and still afford the buildings to store them in when you're not using them!

to see a 1270 sitting in the corner of my garage doing nothing but collecting dust :( The Coinstrike just become my #1 favorite & a guy in England wanted the 1270 bad & offered me good $$ for it so I caved  I'm sure I'll own one again someday....maybe modified to chest mount or something........
Here's a detector we both should have :beers:

and then come back again. :) I could never be without a C$, CZ, and 1270 or whatever superscedes them. Hey, that pic is of the new detector Tom is working on, right? I just hope that tap is plumbed to about six of my favorite Sam Adams brews. Well, Dogfish Head wouldn't be bad either. :D

Isn't that a Boston beer? I'll have to bring a case down to DIV 5 I guess :beers:
They are supposedly bringing back our old famous local beer, "Narragansett".
But, speaking of Sam Adams, whatever happened to Cherry Wheat?
man it must be too hot to detect if the talk is all beer now :smoke:

That it is, which was why I thought you might be familiar with it. ;) I still see Cherry Wheat available around here. Never heard of Narraganset. Better bring a sampling of the with ya too :)
Sorry about the off topic babbling. I need to hunt!
