I've been hunting in disc mode lately...and the threshold will disappear when i'm hunting (null) and i'll have a yellow light signal and it will keep nulling when i pass it from left to right. But there is no yellow audio tone, just the null and the yellow light. Does this represent a deep signal or is it a small target like a .22 bullet deep. Or even smaller.

2nd question is i was hunting in discrimination mode the other day and i went over a target and it gave a super high screech. Does this represent a overload tone? I went to all metal mode and the target was kinda big......Think it was a anchor or motor or something? lol.

Thx.

Matt, about the null and yellow light question, I found this on a post.

What I've found is to listen for when the threshold tone nulls out (goes away), look at the LED lights. If the red light flickers, walk away, it's small or deep iron. If the yellow light flickers, dig it. It's likely to be a hair pin, plated fish hook, .... or extra small, extra deep gold. I've found a few tiny gold chains by digging the yellow light nulls. Hope that helps.
