Kellyco got the 10.5 coils in for the XT-70 and they let me know that mine is in the mail. I can't hardly wait to get it. I have read all your posts where you were using the coil and based on that I ordered the coil. I was told that a small coil may be made available in late spring which would be great. I have heard of a lot of guys holding off on their purchase of the the XT-70 because it did not have a small coil. Maybe when a small coil, preferably an elliptical DD 7.5, is made available, Minelabs sales will go up!!!!!!!! I have not heard of Minelab making a larger one like you want, but you never know. It would be nice if Minelab could make everybody happy. I have sent you a photo of a magazine that is printed on your side of the pond. Have you ever seen it? That 10.5" DD is a nice coil and does well as long as you do not mask anything, I think it would miss a lot by notching out iron with a slower recovery rate, you just have to listen to all the crap under the coil. The field I am doing now could use a smaller coil as every sweep gives 2-5 beeps of iron, mostly ox shoe nails and the nails are masking the goodies. At this point with the XT70, I will also buy the smaller coil for trashy fields. Sorry I was late on the post! HH, Mike

Hi, I always hunt in all metal mode so that will not be a problem. I am eager to get it and give it a try. Have you seen the magazine that I am interested in? If you have not seen it, maybe they aren't around anymore. Dennis

Sorry Dennis, it is a British print magazine, I can not even find a German detector magazine in Germany, I have the American Western and Eastern magazine delivered to the house. By the way, my wife said the coins were delivered and thanks for your honesty, let me know if you ever want to do another trade! HH, Mike
