Hey Awhitster, here's some old goodies..

One is the medallion from the 1902 reunion of the GAR. One is a bronze watch fob from the 1908 convention of United Grocers, the heart shaped gizmo commemorates the visit of the US Naval Fleet to the Pacific coast in 1908. The badge is from the old TV series, " Tales Of Wells Fargo" from the fifties. The Marine badge is from 1917 and I've never figured out what the blob of melted metal is but I suspect it's gold as it's quite heavy. Got more goodies I'll post from time to time.

Man those are some sweet finds Bill. I like finding treasure, it beats the old clad clad clad.

Great pictures, Bill, I still haven't fiqured out how to scan a picture, or object, on my scanner and get it uploaded to yhe finds site, guess I'm missing something in the guide book, have tried, but can't seem to find the right method for doing it, anyway thats a great watch fob you have there, I think you ought to sell it to me, HA, LOL on that thought HUH!

Yeah I get a real bang digging up stuff like this. Got a CW belt plate around here somewhere with a crack in the middle but it's still worth a few hundred bucks. I've got a bag full of buttons I have to identify some day. Think some may be CW buttons that I dug up 30 some years ago.

Most scanners are simple to post pics with. Maybe you are missing something. There should be a page on your software to post the pics you scan, then you should be able to click "file" and pull up a list of things to do with your pic like changing the title and exporting it to your hard drive where you then can transfer it to the forum via the pic posting process.

Hey thanks Willy, I know I've got the page your talking about, will have to check out the file your talking about, sounds like thats where I'm going wrong, also is there a way to get the picture the right size for viewing with the most detail, thanks again for your reply.

You should have a documents page on your software and a scan manager page where you can play with your pics.
