Hey Awhitster, here's a CW belt plate I found..

in Texas years ago. Has a crack in it but still worth a few hundred bucks. Found a few IH's in the same area and my buddy found a 24 KT gold, handmade Chinese ring. What a hunk of gold that was.

Seems it would take a pretty good
whack to crack one of those things.
Maybe a plow or something..?

scratch it, unless it was froze in
place and couldn't move. What

Nice plate Bill, is the lead and hooks, still on the back of the plate? I've never had the opportunity to hunt for CW relics, but think it would be great to find, Iowa isn't exactly a hot bed for CW relics, Ha.
 
Neither is Oregon. Found this while coinshooting with my buddy who lived in Texas at the time. Lead and hooks are gone.
