Hey any NJ. Beach and Surf Hunters....

Hello

I'm in NJ, I also just bought a Excalibur II. Only had one full day out but it was a good one. I will be hunting tomorrow 10/09 finally off from work. Maybe we could me up someday

Bruce

What the Heck was i thinking when i put up those dates, yes 03/10 Live in Manahawkin

If so, let me know how you make out. We have a Summer family home there, but I have not hunted LBI since my last Summer vacation. It's easier to drive to other beaches where I live.

Good luck...every beach I have hit has been sanded in and not a lot of good stuff to find.

WE NEED A STORM !!!

I am looking to head down Friday, anywhere from LBI all the way down if anyone is interested.

I made out well lots of coins during low tide but you have to drive around the island because they are re sifting the sand because of the ammunition from the dredging. Also the front end loaders on the beach keep pulling the dune sand down to flatten the beach...

Also..did you get up towards Love Ladies and Harvey Cedars. Those areas always erode fast. Problem is, lots of those beaches are private, and because of that, I don't think they get any help from federal/state funding to re-plenish the beach. I could be wrong on that since I did see some houses that were really on the edge of being structurally unsound due to the sand eroding all the way past the dune and up to the house. It looked like some houses were ready to fall over !

Yes, this is in Surf City and I always see the front end loaders moving the sand. I really haven't look towards the north end of the Island because you cant park anywhere but i might try that way on Sunday.
