Hey everyone! Just would like to say hello! I'm new to the forums, but, I've been reading and taking everything in that you all have written. I suppose I have been watching these forums for almost a year. This place is full of info. It's almost like a correspondence course of metal detecting. If you can't learn something here then somethings wrong! I have talked with a few a you through pm's, and that really has helped. I've detected off and on through the year and I got to tell you the bug has got me. I can't wait to get out and find something ! Right now I use an x-terra 50 and I'm looking to upgrade real soon. Hopefully to a 70 or 705. My wife also like this so she can use the 50. lol Not to often when your better half can join in the fun! She doesn't like to dig so will have to work on that . Anyway nice to meet all of you and I hope everyone has had a great holiday. I'll try and post a few things that I have found through out the season. Take it easy and we'll talk later!

Hello Jack and welcome to the forum!!
You are defineately at the right place to get information on the X-Terras.
These guys are great at giving information and help to anyone that has questions on metal detecting.
I have learned things by reading the various topics that would have taken months or years to learn through trial and error.
The FAQ's at the top of this forum page has some very good information also and is easy to access.
Looking forward to seeing your finds,
Felix
