Got up and hit the woods yesterday. Once again, the hunters where out in full force so I was limited to where I could hunt. I know one thing, when that hunt in Virginia comes in March I will be in relic hunting shape :D It was a perfect day to be hunting, not lying on a couch, watching TV and eating moon pies all day :rofl:


The first good signal I get it looks like a dime in the plug (I didn't have my glasses) and when I wipe off some dirt all I see is a small hole in the top and I think I've found a half dime (that why I have a picture) but Nooooooooo.

I don't know what it is, but it ain't worth nuthin' :D

Here's a digging tool I bought for $20. I actually bought 2 and I'm going to put a long handle in one. It worked great, and I didn't have to get down and dig but a few times and then I could use it as a prop to get back up :wiggle:

Didn't find any silver or even a Buffalo nickel to make the hunt but I'll take it :thumbup:

I Bought A Pick For Nugget Hunting--- Once In A While I Use I Do Use It For Digging---Craig You Are Joining The Art-Ritus Club----Be Glad Your Not My Age To Go Along With It---I Started Doing That Around 5 Years Ago---Now I Have To Use The Pick Full Time---ONE Of My Other Problems I Very Bad Knees---When I Get Up And Down They Sound Like Pop Corn Popping---I Think Some Day I Will Need Knee Replacements Of Both But I Am Trying To Put It Off As Long As I Can !
