Met at McDoggies for coffee, then headed out to a couple of old areas. A little on the cool side, running a few degrees above the freezing mark. Well.......it least it keeps the cans of Coke cold in the car. One of my first signals got me a nice old horseshoe. There were lots of birds too. I snapped a nice pic of this piliated woodpecker pounding on a dead pine tree nearby.
Here are my finds for the day. A few relics and some interesting items to keep the suspense going.
