That looks like a self made scoop--looks good--is it heavy

No I didn't make the scoop, I bought it about 3 years ago off the internet from some place in one of the New England states, can't remember which. It is not too heavy, it has a SS bucket with a Galvanized handle. It is a heavy duty scoop and I suppose heavy compared to aluminum. I just broke it a couple of weeks ago at the beach but took it to a metal shop here in town and had it welded for $10 bucks and it is good as new. The bucket didn't brake, the handle did at the very end where it thins out and makes a 90 degree angle to bolt to the bucket. Thanks

Great video! Thanks for sharing. What a day! Were you hunting in Discriminate or all metal? How many bottle caps/pull tabs were you finding per say coin? I have a spot that I am working that is giving up tons of old pulltabs and some mixed change. I have a feeling it will produce soon. Do you feel like the rings are fresh drops or have they been there a while?

Thanks. Hunted mostly in discriminate. The area was not too trashy, I found probably 6-8 newer style pull tabs and 1 old Beaver tail. So the coins were almost 10-1 on the pull tabs. I think most of the rings had only been there a few weeks at most, the one that was so deep and green could have been left over from last season. Thanks again and HH!

Thanks, I don't have a screen in the bottom of my scoop, I do need to put one to catch earring backs and small sinkers and such. The camera is a Tachyon and it is an 8MB card. Thanks again and I'm looking forward to your videos. HH
