Nice button, and it cleaned up really nicely. It came out better than my last button. I found this in Edgefield, SC several months ago. It could be post civil war.

As you know I've found a lot of relics in the waters off Bermuda but very few of them are in good shape, the surf and the salt are brutual on a find that's been in the washer for a long time. A lot of the old finds are so heavily encrusted with coral growth that at first you'd think you'd found a rock but the Excal doesn't lie.
