Here's the raging river this morning -

Normally dry 98 % of the time - this river is one of 2 major drainages here in Tucson. When we get lots of rain in the area, particularly in the mountains, it floods. It's starting to lap over the edge now. The bridge is 25 feet above the sand bottom of the river. steve in so az

That looks very dangerous! I bet you will have some good diggin for a short while! :)
 
Man, you would NOT want to fall in that! Amazing that those bridges can withstand the force of the water!
 
That is a raging river!! Do you have many flooding problems when the river gets to that stage?
