COLORED LEAVES OF FALL

In the Springtime many things become new,
The Light of Life comes bursting through,
Flowers will be blooming bright and colorful;
Leaves are green with everything looking wonderful;

Then the hot days of summer are here,
When blossoms in full bloom do appear;
And with plenty of rain for water to drink,
They'll show their many colors, some in pink;

As the beautiful blooms of Summer fade away,
Falls brilliant color will come our way,
Flowers like Mums bloom in colorful arrays,
With Autumn season coming in many, many ways;

The green leaves of trees begin to change,
It is God's mystery that seems so strange,
Into bright hues some become orange or red,
While squirrels prepare for their winter's bed.

There's browns and yellows mixed with green;
All the Fall's colors are a brilliant scene,
Bronzes, rusts, oranges, yellows and red,
As animals gather food, for Winter, to be fed.

Our Earth is a huge canvas used by God above;
He painted all the colors with caring love;
He made the sky blue and grass to be green;
Then He splashed lovely colors in between!

The winds blow briskly but not too cold,
As the leaves turn from green to gold;
Some fall down to the ground right away;
Others fall later when the winter is gray.

In the breezes they whirl and twirl around;
Then they gather in heaps upon the ground;
The leaves rustle noisily as the children laugh,
While they run through them down a path.

God's creations are very beautiful to see,
There's mountains so grand and the roaring sea;
There's valleys, gorges and the sparkling sand;
Many marvelous wonders all over our land;

God's creations are babies to be you and me;
And the buds of spring become a green tree,
With flowers blooming a glorious beauty for all;
Yet, the loveliest are the Colored Leaves of Fall!
