Here's the pics from my 2 chain day a couple of weeks ago...

This one made my heart go pitter patter :) I could make out the 18K but I missed the "GF" that followed it... The heart looks like it's real gold though. It's a locket that once held a picture.

On the way back, I hit this .925 chain... Gave it to a friend of mine :)

These were REALLY junky hits... but any hits at all in the wet / packed sand are worth digging. First chains with the Exp II. Haven't really hunted much lately... just haven't been able to catch the right tide. Can't wait for the winter when I'm out there alone :)

Joe - Great looking pieces ! That gold sure is nice. If you ever get a bunch of "junk" gold items to send to the refinery - they do frequently give $$ for gold filled and such. Just thought I'd pass this on to you. Of course after you start hitting the beaches this fall/winter these items will become everyday to you :)

Sure wish I was there this winter on the beach with you all, steve in so az

except maybe rusty nails. Not likely I'll run across many of them since I don't detect where there are shipwrecks. No disc. would probably give me more depth and also more practice :):

Congrats on the great finds Joe
