This necklace is on a 6 ft. shoe lace. Couple good ones from NY and a triple spurred bird taken in Virginia. The two pairs on the bottom are from Osceolas.

Both the Osceolas and the triple spurred bird were taken from public lands. (the horny cap came off the two nubby spurs on one leg of the triple, gotta glue them back on)

Bear Island area of the Big Cypress swamp in the Florida Everglades, and National forest land in Shenandoah County Virginia near the W. Virginia border.

Both places were awesome just to visit. Some great free primitive camping both places. The birds were just icing on the cake.

It would look nice displayed in a shadow box with a few Indian arrowheads. You did great! Kelley (Texas) :)

Not a bad idea, I've got a few arrowheads put away that would display nice too. Been looking for an antique display case. Shadow box is a good option for the wall.

Thanks for the idea and thanks for looking. Patrick

How cool i like very much!

Find someone tearing down a wood fence and they will give you some of the weathered boards. Don't try to be too neat or precise, if it appears a little crude, so much the better. Below is a picture of some of my arrowheads that I have mounted in shadow boxes and hung on the wall of my study...wife calls it my junk room. I made most of the shadow boxes myself and stained them. Also, most of the arrowheads displayed were found by me over the years, a few were given to me by kinfolks or members of one of the Indian Nations...I have never bought an arrowhead or other Indian relic. If you decide to build a shadow box, please post a picture of it. Kelley (Texas) :)

WOW, that is very impressive collection. And very nicely displayed. I really like the rustic weathered wood idea.

I could spend hours just looking at that wall.

I surface collect plowed fields and riverbanks. Never dig.

Definite thanks for sharing that one. Patrick

Awesome collection! WOW
