Nice looking finds. I have a Tot Lot near me but it is not as generous as yours was. However, I find a lot of clad and an occasional ring in the grass around the Tot Lot.

If I wouldn't have come across the 16 quarters I would have had 1 quarter from the two playgrounds. I was very fortunate. I would have never expected that many quarters. It was one heck of a surprise and a fluke. That's the most coins I've found in one place. HH, Nancy

My VDI read 50 cents, and I pulled out 2 quarters...... Nice find... What was the VDI when you dug the 16????

I don't look at the VDI numbers when detecting playgrounds. I did everything. Also it right by a large pipe, I was just lucky enough to hear a few double beeps at me in coin and jewelry mode using my BigFoot coil. That things the best in my opinion on getting close to playground equipment.

Don't you love it when they MXT actually can tell you if it's 25, 50 cents or even a $1 in change.....LOL. I get a kick out of it when that happens. Thanks and HH, Nancy

Like you I dig everything in the tot lots. Makes it that much easier when you go back the second, third, ect. It's hard to believe the trash you pull out of them. The nails are what really get me. Be it wood chips, or rubber chips you still seem to come across numerous rusty old nails. Sure hope there's no little ones running around in there during the summer.
