Took Bob's advice and blew off the afternoon and hunted a small field. Pulled up the 1803 Capped Bust, almost didn't find it as it was in a hard dirt ball that didn't pinpoint, and got the 1947 Washington. They must have made a slew of the coppers as my hunting partner found one last weekend and this is my second. Ron
 
I know those coppers are common, but it gives me a thrill to find something 204 years old. If I were you, I'd dust off those picnic grove maps. I'm telling you, those could be your next hot spot. Thousands of people with money = dropped coins and jewelry. Think about it. Ron
