Here's another thought about the hurricane hitting New Orleans that I didn't think about......

I heard Larry and Chuck Bates on KJSL, Christian Radio Station, and they were talking about so many Jews being uprooted from their homes, some had been there for 30 to 40 years, and were in camps, motels or without places to stay! They never agreed with Pres Bush or Condolezza Rice about the Road Map for Peace nor do I. Since 10,000 Jews were displaced with Palastinians taking their land, they believe God allowed the hurricane to hit New Orleans and Gulf States which has displaced 100,000 people more or less, besides those who have died, which is a hundred fold! The Nation that blesses Israel is blessed but the Nation that turns against her will be cursed! So, maybe Pres Bush is to blame, for the Bible says, when they cry peace, peace...sudden destruction will come! What do you think? Also all nations will come against Israel right before the end of this age as we know it!

I don't think it is any "one" persons fault. I believe that the Good Lord allows these things to happen for a reason, and that even though we can't see it now, many good things will come of it all! Like when 9-11 happened, many were saved, and the nation banded together! Let us do that again!

to do much in this country. I have to think we want to blame someone because it is affecting our lives and we want someone to be mad at - to be the fall guy.
Can't say it is my position to judge who does what but I know God says to pray for those in authority over me. Who I like or voted for in the election, who did or didn't win isn't for me to complain about. My task is to pray for whoever is in authority. If it had been Kerry, I'd be praying for him. If it were someone else I'd be praying for that person.

I too want to be mad at someone. Last year when I got the Whites Beah Hunter ID I thought how great it would be to water detect. Between the flood we had and the e coli bacteria, I gave up that thought and traded the BH ID for another Garrett. (Now that Garrett came out with the ACE 250 for under $200 the value of my detectors dropped to below $150 to sell or trade it in), Now that I have the Fisher 1280x and still getting used to it now it seems I can't afford the gas to drive anywhere to use it. Guess that also means there will be less people leaving home to go to the parks and beaches to swim as well.

I would like to blame someone. I will not curse God and I won't blame anyone but instead I will pray even more than I did before. Now that life has slowed down we can find more time to do other things and I think God would prefer I spend more time reading the Bible and praying for others.

Just my thoughts. Not going to say anyone is right or wrong - I'm not a judge, on the jry and certainly don't want to be the hangman.

May God's glory abound and His love and mercies flow out to those in need.

Bush is a Christian and would rather have him leading our nation than a non-Christian, but he, like us, is still learning what God's Word says and has advisers, for one man or woman cannot know everything, whether good or bad ones!May we all pray for those in authority and if they aren't what they should be than may they be saved or voted out of office according to God's Will!
