i was huntin the grounds where the city is doing road work and tearing up the old street. found a winged pin a couple of inches down in the dirt they dug up. there was a radio show in the 30s-40s era that was hosted by a man named Jimmie Allen. it was a show about air force, pilots planes etc. Kids who listened to the show could send in for these winged pins as part of Jimmies fan club.  thats funny...i was born in the 70's so i dont remember the first. although i remember trying to talk my dad into buying a vcr. we had one tv it was a huge consol one. i had my atari hooked up to it and i remeber my parents wanting to watch the news and making me shut it off. level 60 on defender...i cried...
