Garrett is coming out with a new detector, The AT Pro operating at 15 khz. It's
supposed to be out this November.
If you guys ever get your hands on one it would be interesting to hear your
evaluations; it may actually be a good little gold nugett machine at 15 khz.

The machine is priced at $699 but with the usual 20% discount many dealers
give it will be right around the price of the Scorpion. Operating at 15khz it should
be a good detector regardless of its price

I shared this on the Metal Detecting forum but it was censored and taken off. Go figure that one out.

Forget the hype and the cheap plastic garret crap, get the whites mxt its runs at 15khz and won't break apart.. Believe me ,the last thing you want to go wrong when searching for gold far away from base is slipping near a river bank crushing the detector.
Garret pet pee-vie #1 Shaft wobble.
#2 non standard headphone jack

Dont get one...Whites feels like a toy in my hand. Performs like one too.
