I don't think a lot of people are aware of how successful Garrett has been in influencing today's technology with patents, research and development for the sport.

Or be super rich. Imagine getting all those silver coins and hoarding them. Being one of the first water hunters at beaches and finding all that gold people lost. Thoughts like that keep me awake at nights.:razz:
 
Thanks so much John for the walk down memory lane. Mr. Charles Garrett was a very busy, talented and influential individual in the fields of metal detecting, electronics, engineering, entrepreneurship, authorship and philanthropy. Irreplaceable. God rest his soul.
