At first I was not too happy with mine...now I have to take it down off the classifieds.

Problem was...I wear glasses but not when I hunt and I can't see the dinky butt display screen on this thing.....really a bit tiny to read all your settings.

After a week of figureing o.k....not bad....I saw I was not in the setting I wanted. I wanted Pro/Zero/ Iron Adio on/20.....but that was not what I had set. Even with glasses I have a hard time clearly reading small text close up. I put on some reading glasses OVER my prescriptions....ohhh..good golly I had it set wrong.

Now I atleast like the machine for relic hunting especially in our typical colonial celar holes.

This was the take for today...not typical mind you but certainly made it worth the while.

Nice finds mate, well done and a happy new year!

I like this coil although it is nose heavy...then again will say Garrett coils are heavy duty.

Now our soil GB's at 83 or so and I never really have issues with concentrics...atleast not enough to go to a DD. I personally like Concentrics over a DD if the soil/detector combo allows it. Especially in iron trash I prefer a Concentric.

My other coil is the 5x8 DD and that is good for tight trashy spots I suppose but there is a difference in the inground depth between the two and I prefer a bit more depth where I live.

If the trash is dense just raise the Concentric a bit and narrow the inductive field a bit!!
A very well behaved coil!!

Thats some great work there! :clapping: I've been practicing more with the 'Pro...even with the sens dropped down to almost nothing, it hits 5" or so...I also like to raise the coil in the trash, and just sort of work the center of it...the more practice, the more I'm liking it.
