Why does it seem that CZ'S and most Fisher detectors seem to do better in mineralized soil compared to others which require dd or widescan coils to get through bad ground? My CZ-5 ground balances around 5 on the faceplate and they are just the easiest detectors in the world to ground balance. My soil consist of red clay and slate rock which have tons of mineralization but I've found coins and relics over 11" deep stuff that I had missed with other detectors even with dd coils. So my question is why do these detectors cut through ground minerals with out the use of a dd coil and get targets so deep?
