This is an interesting button I dug last year....not sure if it's "political" :shrug:
 
appartantly first used by Protestant Religious leaders around the beginning of the Civil War, from all I can find, I would say it is not Political, but a Religous button that could be a Civil War era button. Coins first stated using the phrase on the Two Cent Pieces during the Civil War and it would only be logical that a button be put out in the same time frame promoting the phrase.
That is the best I can come up with now, if it is a Pre Civil War button I would be surprised.
