We're getting out for a bit and do some detecting! Weather is much better and I'm ready to find some goodies. HH and hope you can get out and enjoy the cooler weather too, Nancy

We were able to do a little bit of detecting. With the humidity and my breathing, I couldn't last long per hunt. My first outing I managed to find two silver dimes, 1935 & 1956, 3 wheats and a bit of clad. 2nd. hunt I came home with a couple of Indian cents, 1904 and a 1869 and 3 wheats. YAHOO!!! 3rd time out, I came home with a 1944 Merc. and 4 wheats. The 1869 is in 3 in One oil soaking in the tiny mug. The shiny picture of the Indian is still soaked in oil. Sorry about that. Didn't dig too much junk and only found one clad nickel. We'll be back to that place for sure. What a great day. HH, Nancy

Nancy almost whooped me......... well she did anyway... her 1869 IH would probably grade VF-20 before environmental damage........ look that one up. Congratulations honey :cheekkiss:

My take for the day was two silvers and 9 wheats and some clad. The Barber is 1905-0 and above that is play money and above that is what looks like and Italian token for a cup of espresso.....

Congrats on your finds you guy's. It's way to dry to get any hunting done here. That's alright though. We have been out looking for semi precious gem stones. We are having a little luck at doing that. We need rain really bad but it's just not in the cards right now.

Now find that 1877 cent, Good chance. Good finds.

I'm quite happy with the one I found yesterday! :wiggle:

Now that sounds like a LOT of fun too. I love to dig around the rocks. HH, Nancy
