Here she comes

I had high hopes that she might keep moving more to the northeast so that she would go up past my area and move some of the sand with a bit of wave action but alas it looks like I will have to wait for the next one.

Five hours on the beach yesterday. In the water and the dry also and I came home with one stainless steel ring, a Pair of cheap ear rings, a yellow wire ring and #1.70 in clad.

Yes my beaches are sanded badly.

Hope you guys down on the gulf get some sand movement.

It looks like the Panhandle might get the best of it. No Hurricane in Fla in 10 years. That is hard to believe. If one ever does come up the East Coast every mother's son will be swinging a detector.

Im ok with chasing recent drops if the option is a hurricane. The last thing i want to do is test my insurance. I highly doubt a couple more rings could put humdy back together.

I wish no damage on anyone but I was hoping Erika would have moved up the coast. Looks like I'll be hunting the towel line next week.

Me too! I never want to to see People suffer or see property damage. I just want some movement. I'll be in VA beach right after the holiday trying to make the best of it.

On my beaches they are already out there swinging. I have stopped and counted as many as eight other guys working an area of the beach that I was trying to work. Tourists that visit bring their detectors with them and then throw in all the local detectors and it is detector city. It is extremely rare that I go to the beach and not have competition for the few targets that are available. Even with all the competition I still on rare occasion find something worth bringing Home.

I stayed here for Hurricane Hugo and I would not wish a hurricane on any area of the world but a little bit of beach erosion would not make me unhappy.
