This is a 1918s Walking Liberty Half dug today from a park that has been pounded for years, it has lots of iron and a good amount of trash. I was using the stock coil. It was not deep 5-6" but the signal was solid i am Sooooooo glad I didn't pass this one up!

Nice Walking Liberty Mike. They're hard to find these days. Which coil did you find it with? I like my C$, good detector, goes deep enough for me. Jabbo

Thanks Dave, I was using the 8" coil, I picked up the 10 1/2" on ebay soo cheap I think $30 give or take, works well also first time at the picnic grove I pop-ed out a nice barber dime . One of my detecting partners was hunting the same area he was convinced the area was back filled in, i am impressed how stable smooth the C$ ran over that ground. i found another half in a picnic grove in August last year different machine. Happy Hunting
