Thanks have been tight was going to get the new coinmaster. But now not sure so here is what I need.
Since alot of my time is very limited I hunt a lot of tot lots. But also want to hunt at Galveston Island so right now my budget is 300 or less
so we have the following
Whites Prism III
Tesoro SiIver umax
Garrett ace 250
teckatics delta 4000
detector pro pirate.

Trying to sell a few items this week that will double my budget then I would be looking at the following
Whites 6t or m6
detector pro wader
fisher 1280 with 8"coil
tesoro tigershark if there any in stock

Any help is greatly appreciated.

For water hunting, there's no doubt in my mind...... detector pro pirate for your low budget amount. The Ace 250 or the Teknetics Delta 4000 for land hunting. I just don't know how to direct you to a machine that will do you a good job on both.... water and land. But, there are some great folks here that'll help you out!Good Luck!

None of the units mentioned would excite me for salt water hunting. I was forced to choose, Fisher 1280 with 8"coil vs. Tesoro Tigershark, I'd go with the Tesoro.
There is no practical salt water/land combination unit. Afew exist that will function, but they are hardly ideal.

They fit in your current budget, go deep, and can hunt your saltwater beach and inland sites.
In fact, find yourself a used or new CoinStrike and not only is your beach covered but also any hot ground you might run into is covered.

My two corroded zinc cents.
