WOW, With that thing we could check to see if the world was flat or round..Holy smokes..

Hi EZrider,

That coil, at 12 by 15 inches looks to be exactly what I've been hoping for regarding prospecting of large deep silver ores. Would you kindly please post or PM me with the website? Thanks EZ.....

There testing the 75 and T2 coil but they do have some of the SEF coild on the site as well as a review.

Hi EZ,

Thanks for posting back that site. I did a search for "Detech Coils" and came up with the Joan Allen site right after posting to you. Just finished reading the test results for the Explorer. No mention yet of it for the F75, but obviously it's just around the bend.
EZ, I've been wanting to thank you for all the information I gleaned from your many postings, prior to purchasing the F-75. Your many observations were very helpful and instrumental to making a decision. Thankyou, Jim.

Having used the 15x12 coil on the explorer it is 11 ozs heavier than tha stock coil, with very little depth improvment over the stock coil, unbalanced when swinging ,not for me ,minelab this week have brought out a rival coil to counter act this detech coil .I DO NOT EXPECT THIS COIL FOR THE f75 TO BE ANY LIGHTER ,it is suprising how a few posts world wide ,start of a rush for something new ,just be carful how you spend your money ,not really what they want us to belive these coils .one guy in the XXXXXXXhas a free coil to test and of course he then says it is a world beater ,my personal view, I sent the coil back saying it was not what they are making out to be, and got my money back.if you do buy one make sure the locking fitting screws up properly have heard of several poor fixings, like wise my coil also I have nothing to gain by this post just saying how it is in my view .

In my thoughts i kind of have to aggre with what JM said. Im not sold on hype that easy and the fact the coil is very close to what we have stock. Jim, for the deep silver ores a 10 1/2 inch round conentric would be the deepest in a non trashy area. Im holding out on a F70 10 inch consentric myself.

Looks very heavy, and could possible unbalance the f75 not to mention could wear you out. What is the weight

The overall size is just about right. I have been wanting a larger coil for some time for the open fields and for prospecting where covering volume of ground quickly is important. I am though hoping Fisher comes out with such a coil as I feel they would be the ones to best match the coil to the F75. I especially want a larger coil for next spring.
