club event. Just us local guys in the club playing on a run we set up thats on the track for a bit, in the woods, in the parking area and back in. Tried to get each section of it so it jumps around. This was a 3 mile loop run 7 times. It was still 92 and humid, but they ran it.... As you can see it was dry so a lot of dust.... I converted this one, but now find if I don't and let U tube do it they are a lot clearer, but don't want to re do this one... My son Andy is on the yellow #627, a 250 2 stroke, most are on 4 strokes 450cc... Considering the guys ahead of him are all national riders on 450's he did well.... No points in this, just Wed night fun.....This was just before dark so not to bright in some sections....

you get Youtube to except a video over 10 minutes? I thought that was the limit. Did they change it or something? Is that the video you asked me about? Turned out good!

that I put together, then cut most of the bad spots out of it. Still some there but it made a good practice one to mess around with. Tell ya, hard to settle on a program that gives what I'm after. I'm using Roxio 2010, but it saves in and odd ball format that only that program will play. It really does a nice job, but U-tube do regonize it in one of there formats. They have another one, that makes it a WMV file but to be honest, it really down grades and this cheaper cam corder don't need any downgrading. I also am trying it with Windows Movie Maker. It does it but still not what I want. I'm still playing with different programs. I did find out tonight that U-Tube would accept a MOV file from my Canon cam. That seems to do ok. I'm not sure what they convert do and it donwgrades it some. The MPG you mentioned seem to do the best in not degrading the movie. Takes a lot of time for sure..... More than I have right now with winter starting to breath down my neck and not much wood in the back yard. Still out in the woods... Oh yeah, U-tube now says they will take up to a 15 minute clip.... I have a lot to learn. Your clips are nice and smooth, clear etc. I need a lot of practice....I was surprised the one I posted as it was really getting dark but it came out ok.... I did find in the program how to lighten it up, but kept messing it up saving so I just gave up..Can't jump around or at least I can't.... I'm in the progressive fumbling stage now Royal.... Even learned a few new words.....LOL......... Hey, I liked your mushroom clips...Neat stuff, I 've never seen any like that in these parts. I'll work on some small ones, 30 seconds and post a few of them of the guy on the ramp or if you like go into our club web site or just type in the name I used of yankeewa1nla to see all that I've been working on....some are junk, I just have not deleted them yet...

My camera will do high def, 1080P but I usually make them at 720p because the files are really big and anyone with a slow computer or connection can not watch them anyway. Youtube will allow the view to watch them at different settings. I like to watch the HD videos at the highest I can and full screen, makes a big difference.

Using transitions between clips makes them look better too. some of the files are big but I don't really care as I have a good we connection and I just set it to upload to Youtube and then go hunt mushrooms or something :D

I like full screen pictures and video also.... I have two machines here, one the wife uses with and another one with Vista 64 bit on it and 8 gig of ram and high end video card. So I do the videos over on that one... I've done most of the add on's for Vista and its hard to tell from Win 7.... I have Win 7 on another drive, but I keep it unpluged and just use the Vista drive. Over time I've downloaded a lot of stuff for it and its there. Saves me searching for yet more stuff.... Jane and I both enjoy the computers so we keep them both running. She has her horse gang and they are on a lot at night in different chat rooms etc. Well, let me go check out Cyberlink Power Director.
