i owned the ex2 and upgraded to the e-trac and at first ran right out and turned on the machine with out slowing down like a kid with a new toy . the trick i started using is to spend just min at the start of the hunting day passing the coil over a few coins ive found in the past and closing my eyes and picturing the sounds of a indianhead , a sliver dime ect . really fast i found it so much easyer to learn the sliver tone of dimes and quarters . try it it has worked well for me
