Some of you may already know this, I had never heard of this. Go get your dullest knife, you know, the one you don't use anymore because it's so dull. Doesn't matter if it's a straight edge or serrated. Now go get a ceramic mug out of the cabinet. Flip the mug over and run the blade at an angle along that little raised rim that runs around the bottom, it is usually unglazed (not shiny) do it several times on each side of the blade. Now go try the knife. Amazing simple solution!
 
Well, it would do in a pinch or not able to find a knife sharpener at the moment...some like me or good at hiding things! :rofl: :angel: Ma Betty
