This pic was taken indoors with the following settings for anyone that cares..
F-11
shutter 7.0
iso 100
center metering
flash normal
WB auto
This was a really clear pic until I had to squeeeeeeze it under 80k to fit this forums server, BUT the effect is really quite pleasing I think.

Do you know what the original size was Tony? I can shrink some of my 2meg pics down to 40 or 50Kbs without too much degradation. I use Paint Shop Pro 7. Anyhow, your picture is still very good although I had to scroll to see it all (no problem). Keep em comin' buddy.

idea to show everyone your camera settings along with the picture. I know I can learn by comparing the settings with the picture. I usually shoot in Program mode on my G1 with the highest resolution and Superfine compression. Auto White Balance and Auto Shutter and Aperture. I also use Spot metering a lot---it eliminates having to do exposure compensations like when the subject is backlit or shooting snow or sand at the beach. Works almost every time.

if I keep the picture physicaly smaller that the pixel sice is a lot smaller
This first picture is 51k and I made it 10 inches <img src="http://www.findmall.com/photo/84/testbig.jpg">
The second is 6 inches and it is about 17k <img src="http://www.findmall.com/photo/84/testlittle.jpg">
