area lake which is about 2 blocks from me. Yes, that is a light house on the lake.

Bwaaaah!!
This is the river in front of my house. The water is open now but a while back she froze over which doesn't happen very often, it has to get pretty cold to freeze due to the current.
 
its been in the mid-70's here for about a week now lows in the mid 50's. You can't beat them temps for metal detecting. One good thing about Florida, you can hunt here year around as long as you don't mind the heat, which can climb to 98-99 degrees during the summer.
Thats when I stay in and burn the midnight oil working on the ship models in A/C comfort.
