The Barber Half I found at low tide in thick, black mud; it was heavily tarnished, but I managed to clean it up somewhat

The final four pics are of a a"Walking Half"..."before and "after " pics.

I am getting interested in dirt/relic hunting because I want to find coins in better condition; here in Ct .there must be loads of Colonial coins hiding ...I want to find them..
 
Hey Brian and welcome Magyar! I got over there a few weeks ago, got a few buttons and other relics and sure enough Donnie got an old copper. He brought a buddy out a few weeks prior and the guy found a 1734 King George. They are there. My sister got us an old inn to hunt recently that is in all the old postcards. Can't wait to get back to my old stomping grounds. Have a good one and will post some pics soon.
