Here are one of the barns right next to be that went

any snow or ice this time around, but lows are in the low 20's and the teens are expected tomorrow and Thursday! That's cold enough to make me stay inside until it warms up a bit! :)

This was a really nice place. He knew he should of gotten it off last storm, but scuffed his feet on it. He had actually called a contractor last night to do it today.
to bad he didn't get them yesterday. It snowed most of the day today and that was the final straw I guess. I see you guys down there have been having some cool weather. this has been a harsh one here also. Usually its bad a few days, then warmer, then bad again, but this year, its stayed cold and snow about every 3 days, and lots of it. Not that it has all compacted and gotten wet a few times, its rock solid. spring thaw should be interesting....

Good seeing you online again. I missed your collection of Christmas tree's you used to post. Hope your getting back to your old self again. Bass fishing can't be to far off down there.

I never knew that snow on the roof could do that much damage.

We put it up and were concerned about the small amount of bearing this space frame building had on the beams if it should ever move. Over the winter, it collapsed from snow load and plugged roof drains... Just 4 hours before it was full of Whaler Hockey fans.... No one got hurt....

Tremendous loads put on that stuff with wet snow or build up of many layers. Thats whats getting them here right now, many layers. A bunch more went down today all over the state. Mostly metal buildings. A lot of those are out of the south. I'm thinking the engineers need to rethink snow loads in the north, maybe increase the roof pitch, larger stronger materials. All kinds of warehouses went down to day along with older car dealer ships...
