It poured rain this afternoon, so I opted to get my rings sorted out and prepare to take photos of them. Here's my setup. I bought a photo tent a few years back, and use my macro lense on the camera. Some of the photos surprise me, as I have never taken any photography courses. I kind of read about it and practiced. It's kind of learning to use a metal detector, only you use your eyes instead of your ears.

About half were from fresh water, half were on land. Hopefully, next year will be good too......if my health backs me up! :)

Very nice. That class ring in the back with the blue stone is a stunner.

Nice setup. Where did you buy it ? I have one but it's a complete cube with a top that serves no purpose. Were the lights included in the kit ? Thanks.

That blue ring has a name in it. I am going to see if I can find the owner. I bought my photo tent on line at: http://www.cowboystudio.ca/product_p/pb05.htm
