It's been a fun year. I got out a fair number of times. I only experienced a mild case of swimmer's itch once....a real blessing. Most of the rings found in freshwater lakes and 2 rings found in the snow. I look forward to another year of water hunting in 2015. I shall now focus on snow hunting for the next 5 months.

Nice,,I also did a lot of fresh water lakes where I live and must say did very well. In 2013 found 492.55$ in change in 2014 got me 168.55$ As far as rings,,for 2013 and 2014 got over 150,,lots of Junk rings but I had a great time,,silver rings over 50 of them,,rest was mostly all 10K with a few 14K. Not all were 10 k rings,,got many pendants that were 10 k and 1 14 K pendant. I can hardly wait for 2015. I have a 37' fifth Wheel but find it to complicated to go from one place to another if only being in a certain area for 1 or 2 days so I purchased recently a T@B teardrop trailer.

Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy new year. I answered on this post because I also was very intrigued about the ATX Most of my pendants came with out a chain,,I have been using Minelab Excal 2 with a 10'' coil,,can't get the chains so I also purchased an ATX Deepseeker package,,will give that a try in 2015

You and polarcat550 have some great finds. Are most of your rings pretty deep that you recover with the ATX?

Hi. I did not find these with the ATX. I posted this message and pics to mention that my pendants found did not have a chain I was told small gold chains was like impossible to detect with an Excalibur 2 so I purchased an ATX and will try to locate the chains in the summer of 2015. I found all with a Minelab Excal 1 and some were knee high about 3ro4 inches deep balance was waist deep and depth were much the same in fresh water lakes where the bottom is hard. The lost jewelry does not sink deep

polarcat550, I read that you didn't find them with the ATX, but it was still some great finds no matter what detector you were using. HH.

Yes Thanks,,actually I only posted some of my finds but I found a lot more,,it was just incredible,,yes I did find a lot of other Junk stuff and with my Excal 2 can eliminate iron,, but I still used the pinpoint mode and pick up the iron as many were small nails to large spikes and all of which can hurt swimmers.

I anticipate a better year in 2015 for my detecting.

Have a great Season Holiday

best Stephan
