Ok so haven't posted here in awhile but have found loads of 14k rings but am having hard time find this lost 22k ring with diamonds. My question is does the atpro hit a solid midtone in the 60-62 on A 22k? I have to go back tomorrow and find it.I found a 14k ring while looking for it.any suggestions? The area is about 200by 200 feet grass

If it hasn't been lost a long time, lower your sensitivity to the 2nd notch and dig anything in the pulltab range. Though the ring SHOULD ring up a solid tone and not scratchy like most pulltabs.

I believe you are correct...if the band is thick it should hit low 60's...61-62..i'd run Pro mode disc 40, iron audio off, two or three clicks from full power. It should be an un mistakable BANG when you get the coil over it.
Cool that you found a 14 while you were looking for it!:clapping:
Mud

I have a man's 22k weighs 7.37 grams. reads 64-65. The 22k is weird because the alloy is silver. It does not always give a clean signal, but it is medium tone. Keep your sensitivity as low as possible but the ID numbers will not be accurate at the lowest sens levels.

Maybe I didn't explain this very well, but the discriminator has some trouble with the 22k. I set the sensitivity high and at two inches above the ring I could barely pick it up, very broken. As I pulled the coil back about eight inches the ring came in much clearer. So you might try that.

So I can lower the sensitivity down a few?? Man I'm having hard timefinding this ring

I know it sounds counter-intuitive, but lowering sens all the way or raising the coil will give a much cleaner tone. I will say you will never find it with high sens and coil on the ground. Even with sens at half way and coil on the ground I do not think you will find it.
