Hey all, I'm having problems with my QDll, It seems that it won't quit giving false signals... I checked the connections, I checked the settings, I put new batteries in it, it hasn't got wet, and it does it in different locations... I've only used it a few times so it's pretty new...it was working fine now this?can any of you folks out there maybe give me something to start with? thanks...

First thing you might want to try is contact cleaner on the plug and receptacle...use it sparingly, and make sure it is completely dry before plugging everything back in...You can get it at radio shack...it is not exactly cheap, but cheaper than a new detector...If this does not work, and you have tried everything else...I would call First Texas for a return verification number...I have to send mine in Next Monday...

No, I thought I fixed it myself, but maybe not...now I broke the locking collar and battery compartment cover anyways...might as well get the full treatment...
