help!

Im new to this forum.Is there any one in this forum that lives in nj? some one that hunt's the beach's and nows all the rules,and,laws for beach hunting,on every beach in nj? any info whould be helpful!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong. (Yeah, it's possible)

The state owns the beach on the coast and it can be hunted up to the sand dunes. The dunes usually seperate the beach from privately owned property. I have heard of detectorists being asked to leave when they're on a "private beach" but I will tell you... There are none! I checked it. If anyone asks you to leave tell them they don't own it. I doubt this will happen but just in case keep it in mind.

There are fees to get on most beaches and that gets expensive so try to stay out there long enough to get your money back!

We're headed that way soon. Maybe for a weekend a most.

we are in the southern end of NJ. But we know most of the laws surrounding metal detecting in NJ. Beach and land.

HI STEVE

I called up some of the beachparks down by the shore ,and,some of them will not let you hunt dorn the day on the beach? they told me that you have to hunt in the moring before the beache's open and after they close.these beaches' you have to pay to get on. but the free one's will let you do it all day. why??
