HELP

Hello,
I found this button or pin in a small town in Arkansas, Can anyone tell me what the initials stand for? it is about the same size as a quarter. the back is missing. I think it is copper.

Thanks,
gwnad

I'll take a guess that the MWA means Modern Woodmen of America. It fits with the axes. Don't know about the F. Maybe this will get you started.

I believe duggap is correct. I can only guess that the "F" stood for Fraternity or Foresters.

For some information, click this link, then click on "Foresters (Drill Teams)", also click on "Jewelry", then click the "View Fraternal Jewelry" link on the right side of that page.

Interesting find.

You are correct, I found a web site that has a Vintage Modern Woodmen Of America leather belt and buckle and it has the same detail, the "F" stands for Fraternity.

Thanks for your help,
gwnad
