help with xca 2l knobs ..

Can anyone help me with replacing the knobs on my xcal 2, I have brand new knobs, but major problems on the threshold knob, when it clicks to be on off..its not.. I have to turn it slightly likes its on the on position to make sure the machine is truly off.

can someone kindly walk me thru this if they know how to change the knobs.

thank you

Pry off the center cap on top of the knob. There should be a little nut under there. I used a needle nose to loosen mine. My new knobs had a set screw. I hope this helps.

the knob for threshold is only the on off switch and is used to set threshold tone so where the indicator point is is only relevant to your setting my potentiometer (switch) has some spin (more turn )after unit is off but i hear the and feel the click so i know its off. the threshold switch is not a set and forget so its just your preference to match dot to off i guess......it could be done ..... hope this helps Pat

Rae, PM me when your gonna go out and i will meet you and i will show you on your Excal................Bruce

I have the same problem with my threshold knob. If I turn it all the way, I have to back it off one click to make sure it is off.
