Hi guy's reading a few recent posts you talk about how good the excal is on small stuff for example stud ear rings ect, last month on on hol's at the beach my wife lost a diamond stud and the backing I grabbed my excal 11 and headed to the beach. running over the spot for 10Min's with out any luck I took the other one out of her ear to run it under the coil just to see what it would sound like but not so much as a beep.tried AM and cranking up and the sens and 0 discrimination still nothing.Any ideas or have i just got a dud my coil does fault a bit when bumped.I did find the ear ring and clip with my MXT any help from the pro's would be great
