So , I am trying to help a friend locate a large cast iron sign that was accidently bulldozed. He says it is no too deep....maybe 8 ". So I set the SE to AM, ferrous sounds and I am looking for a large area of sounds, however, this never occured. I would also think a possible overload sound would be present. Perhaps it got buried on end and I can only hear the corner? Any ideas on what changes or sound I should look for? THe area is only about 40' x 40'/

I am used to discing this stuff out and not paying any attention to it so this is completely foreign to me.

Appreciate any help.

[size=large]sounds like your friend may be off on the location. that SE shouldn't have any problem finding that target. jmo
