help with sending machine to Garrett's

I talked to a wonderful person at Garrett, sorry I don't remember her name, I got a terrible cold today and my head is clogged up, she told me to just send it in, the coil and the control box, question, do I unscrew the control box from the pole and put just the control box and coil in a box and send it to them, thanks

I just sent the coil and the box( no poles). Thats all they want. I'm waiting for mine to be delivered ask I type!!

I unscrewed my control box from the pole, two Phillips head screws is all it takes to remove it, I also just sent the coil, unscrewed it from the control box and detached it from the lower shaft. I wrapped my control box with several crumpled newspapers and did the same with the coil, and used crumpled newspapers to fill in any gaps after putting them in the box so they wouldn't moved around or be jarred during shipping.

one says leave it on the pole , the other says unscrew it from the pole, mmmm..., this may take all day to decide
Send it in with it "half loose" on the pole! :lmfao: ------Sorry, I couldn't resist.

I received my AT back from Garrett yesterday. Before I sent it in I called and talked to Sue and she instructed
